I know Veterans Day was yesterday, but I just wanted to take a moment to acknowledge all of the soldiers out there and all of their families.
I've been lucky not to have any one extremely close to me during my life time have to go to war, but I can't imagine how difficult it is for all those who have experienced it.
My grandfather and my uncle are veterans and my two cousins are currently serving our country.
I saw this video on Twitter and I knew I had to share it with you. This really touched my heart and made me bawl my eyes out, but it's extremely meaningful and I hope you will all take two minutes to watch it.
Do you have a family member or a close friend in the military? What has your experience been like?
THANK YOU TO ALL THE VETERANS AND PEOPLE CURRENTLY SERVING IN THE MILITARY!

Ugh, gosh... I just totally lost my shit and bawled, lady. Just to see how vulnerable those kids allow themselves to be in that moment... whew, ya got me!
My dad was in the army and went overseas during Desert Storm. I was really too young to remember, but I know it was hard on my mom.
OMG, I just lost it at my desk at work. Thank you for sharing that video.
I saw this one in addition to some puppies greeting their owners after returning home from war. I cannot wait for my homecoming with my own puppies! Thanks for sharing :)
Oh man I don't think I've cried that hard in awhile...totally got me. Have you also seen that WalMart commercial where the little boy asks Santa for it to snow for his dad in Iraq...totally gets me too and is so sweet! My Uncle is in the Army and has been deployed twice now...so happy that he's home right now!
That was so sweet. Oh my goodness. You're awesome for posting this. I just found your blog through 20SB and I love it. Totally following you now! :)
I've seen the video of the first kid that got surprised by his dad, but OMG this collection of kids in the video? Tearing up at work.
