Reasons Why Santorini Is Cuter Than Everywhere Else In The World

1. The delicious and cheap food...Every meal I've gotten here so far has been under 10 euros, has been an enormous portion and has been delicious.

2. 4-wheeling around the island is the best way to see Santorini. I never thought I'd ride on the back of a 4-wheeler, but here I am roaming around Santorini with the wind blowing in my hair. It's also a great way to find the quieter remote beaches that you can't get to by foot.

3. All the amazing shops! I keep spending money, money, money. So far I've bought some jewelry and new birkenstock flip-flops. So much cheaper here than in America!

4. The beaches. Duh. This is a given. All the beaches are beautiful though. There are red, black, and white beaches. My hotel is near the black beach...I've 4-wheeled to the red beach, and I haven't been to the white beach yet.


5. European style sunbathing. Never thought I'd bare it all (well almost all) on the beach, but it's so freeing and relazing to tan topless, plus NO TANLINES!

6. Our hotel is adorable. It's run by a Greek couple, has 12 rooms and is precious. The woman who runs the place is so sweet and asks us everyday how everything is and gives us pointers on things to do around the island.


7. 24 hour bakery around the corner with amazing banana and chocolate popsicles. AMAZING.

8. Incredible sunsets.


9. All the houses here and blue and white. It's like all of Santorini got together one day and made an executive decision that all homes would be painted blue and white. It's beautiful!

10. Cheap cocktails! Compared to Rome, drinks are definitely cheap here and we are loving it!

Has anyone ever been to Santorini? It's pretty damn close to being paradise, isn't it?
